A quote from a student at UMD “This is such an established university. I thought, ‘How does this happen?’” () Really ....... some of the biggest banks and companies in the world have been hacked, they also have endless funds to prevent this type of thing from happening. Why would you think that a University that has limited funds and for years have never had to worry about DATA Secuirty would be more secure.
I would say Universities are low hanging fruit for a hacker.
